ABOUT Chris French
Originally from South Africa, now living in Vancouver, Canada. Trained in Graphic design, With over a decade experience as a 3D generalist, as well as holding positions in rigging and as modeling/surfacing supervisor.
Currently seeking opportunities as either a lead or supervisor. I enjoy complex problem-solving, and I strive to apply the same attention to detail and comprehension in managing a team as I learned to apply to my geometry. While mechanical models are where my passion lies, I try to remain as flexible in modeling style as my commitment to the project demands.
Currently experienced in the use of: Autodesk Maya and 3Ds Max, Unreal Engine, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Xgen, and Adobe Design Suite
When I'm not working, I'm probably at a gym, in an interesting restaurant, or furthering my knowledge with a piece of software.
